Short version: PiP Pro runs 100% on your own device. It collects nothing, sends nothing, makes no network requests, and nothing you do in it ever leaves your browser.
When you click the PiP Pro toolbar icon and choose a widget, the extension opens a small always-on-top Picture-in-Picture window on the current page and renders that widget inside it — a focus timer, a scratchpad, a unit/time converter, or a static snapshot of an element you pick on the page. Everything runs locally in your browser. That is all it does.
None. PiP Pro has no servers, no account, no sign-in, no sync, and no backend. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any of your data — not your notes, not your timer or converter settings, not the element you snapshot, and no personal or usage data. We cannot see any of it.
Your scratchpad text, timer/converter settings, and window size are saved locally on your device using the browser's own extension storage, so they are there when you reopen a widget. They never leave your browser and are removed when you uninstall the extension.
No. PiP Pro makes no network requests of any kind — it works fully offline. There are no external services, CDNs, analytics, or API calls. The snapshot taken by the "Pin an element" feature is a one-time local copy that is only shown inside your floating window.
PiP Pro uses activeTab and scripting so that, only after you click its
icon, it can run on the current tab to open the floating window and — for the Pin feature — let you
click an element to snapshot it. storage saves your notes and widget settings locally on
your device. None of these involve any network access or data collection.
Clearing a widget or uninstalling the extension removes everything it has stored. PiP Pro keeps no history anywhere else, because there is nowhere else — it has no servers.
None. No analytics, no ads, no trackers, no external SDKs, no remote code.
